Guy, 57, of Logan, worked every day for the students of his beloved Logan County. He cared so much for the students and his co-workers and employees. He worked to make sure things were done right and for the benefit of the students and to improve their education.
Guy was also a good Logan City Councilman for many years and had worked hard to keep the city growing and prospering.
In his duties as Logan County Schools Assistant Superintendent, Guy was in charge of the buses and he always tried to make sure that the buses were in good shape for the safety of the kids and drivers who rode the buses every day.
He was always the first to call The Logan Banner whenever an accident had happened with a bus because he believed in complete transparency for his office.
Guy leaves some big shoes to fill and he will certainly be greatly missed in the school system, the city of Logan and the southern West Virginia community he loved so well.

Rest in peace, Jim; you've earned your heavenly reward, my friend.
