CHAPMANVILLE — A boil water advisory that was put into effect earlier this week in the town of Chapmanville is still in effect, according to a Logan County Public Service District spokesperson.

The boil water advisory was issued Monday after a water line break near the Speedway in Chapmanville. It was continued due to another break across the street near Aracoma Drug.

All customers of the town of Chapmanville water service and Logan County PSD customers in the Crawley Creek, Ridgeview, Hidden Valley and Sunset Court areas of Chapmanville are still under the boil water advisory.

Kanawha Boulevard and Ferrell Lane customers are not under the boil water advisory.

Those under the boil water advisory are urged to bring their water to a boil, let it boil for one minute and let it cool before using or use bottled water. For more information, call the Logan County PSD at 304-946-2641.
