GREEN VALLEY — A local woman lost her life this week in a tragic automobile accident in the Man area.

On Friday, Logan County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Sonya Porter told The Logan Banner that Tina Jean Cline, 40, of Davin was identified as the victim in the single-car crash near Man Middle School on Wednesday.

Porter said Cline was traveling north on State Route 10 toward Man, driving a black Ford Mustang around 1:06 a.m. when she apparently lost control of the car and ran off the roadway. She died as a result of her extensive injuries.

She was transported to Logan Regional Medical Center by the Logan Emergency Ambulance Service Authority.

Deputy T. R. Brumfield is the investigating officer and the report was not completed as of Friday, Porter said.
