The Logan County PSD sent out a notification this morning that the customers in the Trace Fork, Lake Branch, Sunset View, North Fork, Big Ugly and all of Harts Creek are under a boil water advisory due to an interruption in water service that occurred causing the need to boil their water.
“Bring the water to a boil, let it boil for one minute and let it cool before using, or use bottled water,” the press release said. “We will inform the customers of this area when they no longer need to boil their water.
“Please share this information with all the other people who are customers in this area, especially those who may not have received this notice.”
The Logan County PSD and the Town of Chapmanville Water System just lifted a week-long boil water advisory for most customers of the Chapmanville system after two line breaks in the area of Speedway and Aracoma Drug were repaired.
Those water line breaks were repaired last Thursday and the boil water advisory was lifted on Monday.
