On February 7, 2011, Verdunville Cub Scout Pack 58 visited the Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College Library where they shown how to utilize the internet for school information and were given a tour of the library. Librarian Kim Maynard conducted the tour and Southern employee Scott Pritchard set up the visit. Cub Master Dawn Brennan treated the scouts to the Dairy Delight after the tour.
