STAUNTON, Va. — Laura Mae Scalf Morzark, 74, of Staunton, Va., passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011.

Born March 19, 1936, in West Virginia, she was a daughter of David Willie and Mandyleen Chapman Scalf. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Theodore Morzark, and a son, Steven Morzark.

Prior to retirement, she was a store manager for Rainbo Bread.

Survivors include four children, Debi (Larry) Hutchens of Perry, Ga. , Patti (Bobby) Campbell and Victor (Crystal) Morzark, both of Churchville, Va., and Lisa (Tim) Dula of Deerfield, Va.; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Morzark of Staunton; three sisters, Eileen Hanks and Alice Beckett, both of Logan, and Carol Ferrell of Hickory, N.C.; two brothers, Doug and Larry Scalf, both of Norfolk, Va.; 10 grandchildren, Mandi Hutchens Crowder, Matt, John, and T.J. Hutchens, Sarah and Joseph Morzark, Emily and Micah Campbell and Megan and Day Dula; five great-grandchildren and special friends, Artem Braginetz, Becky Reid and Leslie and Mick Lemish.

Services will be held 11 a.m. today, March 8, at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Victor Morzark, Tim Dula, and Matt, Larry, John, and T.J. Hutchens.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the home of Patti and Bobby Campbell, 1182 Jennings Gap Rd., Churchville, Virginia.
