LOGAN, W.Va. — Rita Spry, 55, of Logan, departed this life Friday, March 11, 2011, at her residence.

Born October 16, 1955, at Holden, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Helen Evans Hensley. Also preceding her in death was one daughter, Amy Spry, and two brothers, Jack and David Hensley.

Rita was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith.

Survivors include her husband, David Spry; one daughter, Katrina Workman of Chapmanville; four brothers, Ervin (Diane) Hensley and Bill Hensley, both of Verdunville, Roger (Lynn) Hensley of Ethel, and Rick (Lisa) Hensley of Dingess; three sisters, Shirley (Dennis) Butcher of Chapmanville, Patricia (Sam) Clark of Huntington, and Tammy (Steve) Wellman of Three Mile Curve; one granddaughter, Shyanna Workman of Chapmanville, and special family member, Shannon Workman of Logan.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, at the Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Eric Rakes officiating. Burial will follow at the Butcher-Hensley Family Cemetery at Verdunville.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
