NORTH MATEWAN, W.Va. — Landen Joseph Scott of North Matewan went to be with the Lord Friday, March 18, 2011.

Born September 17, 2010, in Huntington, he was a son of Bobby and Brittany Pauley Scott of North Matewan.

Landen was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mabel Jean Scott.

Additionally, those left to cherish his memory include one brother, Kaden Lee Scott; one sister, Carmaleena Diane Scott; maternal grandparents, Clyde F. and Linda D. Pauley; paternal grandmother, Jean Milton great-grandparents, Robert and Joann Cogor and Margaret Pauley; uncles, Shannon (Amanda) Dotson, William (Jamie) Pauley and Leah Pauley (fiancé Brain Shook), and cousins, Ashlee, Jared and Alexis Dotson, Jonathan, Morgan, Jayden and William Pauley, and Tyler and Ben Shook.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at the Lilly of the Valley Freewill Baptist Church at Riffe Branch with Rev. Gene Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in the Scott Family Cemetery in Matewan.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
