Mark your calendars and plan to attend Logan High School’s fourth Spring Arts Festival. The festival, a collaboration between the school’s art, creative writing, chorus and band departments, will feature a variety of artistic creations. The festival will be held Thursday, April 7, from 4:30–6:30 p.m. at Logan High School. Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria.

There is no charge for admission, but a donation of a can of food or $1, to support the LHS Prayer Club’s annual Easter canned food drive, is appreciated.

The art department, under the direction of Peggie Hensley, will feature the work of student artists in a gallery walk display. A variety of original art work will be available for purchase, including original drawings, and prints. Students will be on hand to discuss their creative processes. Art work will be displayed all evening.

Logan High School choir, under the direction of Jean Kirk, will perform in the little theater beginning at 5;20 p.m.

The creative writing department, under the direction of Tracy Baisden, will host reading of original student work in the little theater, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The Wildcat band, under the direction of Marty Ojeda, will perform at 6 p.m. in the little theater.

The public is invited to attend and refreshments will be served.
