The Lady Cats continued their hot streak by going 4-0 in the Grand Strand Classic at Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Logan concluded its swing south with a 4-3 win over Roanoke Hidden Valley High School, Va., in the Myrtle Beach area.
Morgan Aguirre pitched the win for Logan, which improved to 19-2 on the season and saw its winning streak increase to 11 games.
Katie Chryssofos hit a two-run homer for Logan, which plated all of its runs in the first inning.
Emily Vinson added a single and Taylor Norman had an RBI sacrifice fly.
Hidden Valley scored two of its runs in the seventh inning but it was not enough.
The Lady Cats were hoping to play one more game on Thursday but could not find anyone to play.
Logan ended up winning its division in the tourney.
The Lady Cats now head north and are scheduled to begin play next week in the Class AAA sectional tournament at George Washington High School in Charleston.
Host GW and South Charleston are set to play on Tuesday at 5 p.m. with the loser taking on Logan at 7 p.m. The Lady Cats drew the first-round bye.
Action then continues next Wednesday and Thursday, if necessary.
Logan is looking to make it back to the Class AAA state tournament.
Last year, the Lady Cats finished the season 29-5 with a runner-up finish to St. Albans as Logan lost 1-0 to the Red Dragons in the state title game at Vienna.
