A press release issued by the Logan County Public Service District on Wednesday said that a precautionary boil water notice for customers in the McConnell area has been lifted.
The boil water advisory was issued after an interruption in service.
“We are pleased to report that the problem has been corrected and it is no longer necessary to boil your water,” the PSD’s press release said. “We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience. Please share this information with all the other people who are customers, especially those who may not have received this notice directly.”
But, over in the Whitman and Holden areas, a Logan County PSD customers were under a boil water advisory due to an interruption in water service.
“Bring the water to a boil, let it boil for one minute and let it cool before using, or use bottled water,” the press release from the PSD read. “We will inform customers of this area when they no longer need to boil their water.”
Customers are also urged to share the information to their neighbors.
