CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. Clyde Stollings, 78, of Chapmanville, departed this life Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Logan Regional Medical Center. Born August 4, 1932, in Yantus, he was a son of the late Homer and Sally Stollings. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Carl and James Stollings, and two sisters, Birdie Vance and Louise Baisden. Clyde enjoyed all things pertaining to life. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Faye Stollings; one daughter, Sherri Lynn (Danny) Lang of Garrettsville, Ohio; one son, Mark (Melanie) Stollings of Mogador, Ohio; two step-daughters, Anna (Ernie) Conley of Henlawson and Lissie McGuire of Belle; two step-sons, Robert and Michael Carroll of Belle; one brother, Fred (Ernestine) Stollings of Chapmanville; one sister, Glenna (Jimmie) Wellman of Vermilion, Ohio; three step-sisters, Geraldine and Connie Strunk of Chapmanville and Darlene McPeek of Stow, Ohio; one grandson, Ben Lang; three step-grandchildren, Bella McGuire, Emily Triplett and Kayla Paynter, and one step-great-grandchild, Harlee Paynter. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, at the Freeman Funeral Home with Ernest Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Pallbearers will be Mark Stollings, Robert Carroll, Michael Carroll, Jerry Price, Paul Cook and Billy Carroll. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
