Murphy, who has been employed as a local car washer, has hit the big time with his performances of two Frank Sinatra standards and was the only contestant picked from the classic singing category.
Murphy has wowed judges with both of his songs and even received a standing ovation from judges during his first performance.
We hope everyone in Logan County is watching Murphy each week. We know he’s got a lot of support throughout the coalfields and across West Virginia.
