The Logan Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, an affiliate of AWVHA, held the Spring Meeting which included the election of officers for 2011-12 with President Gay Cook, presiding, on April 30, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church in Logan.

Auxilian Cecil Willis opened the meeting with the invocation and blessing of the food. The meal was catered by Granny Jack's Restaurant of Barnabus.

A report was given from the Nominating Committee which consisted of Lettie Brescoach, Pauline Fortune and Margaret Shriver. Parliamentarian Alice Cheek, presided over the nomination and election procedure. Officers nominated and elected for 2010-2011 were: Gay Cook, president; Juanita Clay, first vice president; Beverly Roark, second vice president; Peggy Heatherman, secretary; Midge Cox, treasurer, and Nora Bailey, co-treasurer.

The volunteers were presented with gifts from LRMC and LRMC Auxiliary in honor of Volunteer Week. Cook recognized Larry Roark as Auxilian of the Month and presented him with a gift from the Auxiliary.

Members who celebrated birthdays in March, April and May were Hazel Browning, Phyllis Conner, Pat Joe White, Sue Dunn, Peggy Heatherman, Anita Lanthorne, Gloria Martin, Patsy Robinson, Nora Willis and Midge Cox. Each member received a gift card to Walmart. Door prizes were won by Geraldine Smith and Mary Casey. Photos of the event were taken by Historian Betty Toney and decorations were by Beverly Roark.

Members attending the function were Lotus Martin, Delores Murray, Dale Whitt, Juanita Clay, Pat Joe White, Emma Lou MCArthur, Alice Cheek, Peggy Heatherman, Maceline Smith, Nora Bailey, Patsy Robinson, Betty Toney, Cecil and Nora Willis, Larry and Beverly Roark, Gloria Martin, Gay Cook, Gwen Lewis, Mary Casey, Edna Napier, Geneva Wingler, Gladys Vance, Doris Jarrell, Sandy Carper, Midge Cox, Jane Watkins, Lillian Clegg, Delores Smith, Hazel Browning, Nancy Garrett, Margaret Shriver, Ruth Copley, Geraldine Smith, Mary Beth Ferrell and Mary Perry.

The meeting closed with the Auxilian's Prayer.
