I would like to thank the many people in Logan County who sent me a Christmas card while I was at the South Central Regional jail in Charleston.
It was a total shock to me too when Judge Faber refused to comply with the Appeals Court decision in my re-sentencing that was held on December 15, 2006.
It goes to show you that politics is worse in Charleston than it is in Logan County.
I know for a fact that both of the judges and at least two of the magistrates have much more respect for our constitution than the judges that I have been in front of in Charleston.
Let the actions of our federal judges be an example to you when you hear these certain people talk about the appointment of judges, rather that electing. Don’t ever let the legislature shove that down you throat. If you do you will be just as sorry as you are over the workers comp change and the big rebate you were supposed to receive from the insurance industry. Don’t be afraid to speak up to defend yourself. Everyone in Charleston acts like politics is so different in our county. It is not true. They operate on the same principle all over West Virginia, and as far as buying votes, they should investigate the ones who are spending millions to get elected. You know who they are.
Happy New Year Logan County, I am heading back to Morgantown!
