The First Baptist Church of Logan held their Christmas dinner, on Sunday, December 10, 2006, beginning at 6 p.m.

The fellowship hall was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations including a Christmas tree which was donated by Joann Oliver.

The evening began with a welcoming by Dr. J. Gregg Hickman and a blessing before a delicious dinner catered by Granny Jack's.

After dinner Dave Hutton presented Dr. Gregg and Juanita Hickman with a Christmas card with a gift enclosed given by members of the Church. Dr. Hickman presented Fred Langva with a Christmas card with a gift enclosed given by members of the Church as Fred will be leaving our Church fellowship as of December 14th due to the fact that he will be moving to Florida.

The evening then began with singing of Christmas carols and drawings for prizes. The prizes were won by Fred Langva, Marcella Kelly, Cheryl and Alex Reed, Kelsey Pierce, and Samantha Bentley. While Christmas Carols were being sung there was a "Ho", "Ho", "Ho" coming from outside. Then all of a sudden through the door came Santa Clause. The children were so excited. Each child sat on Santa's lap and was given a gift after their pictures were taken.

Christmas gift bags consisting of different kinds of Christmas candy, key chains, planner books, and pens, were given to everyone by John Reed, president of the Baptist Men, and Peggy Slater, president of the Baptist Women.
