Some people call 'em hotcakes. Some people call 'em flapjacks. Some people call 'em pancakes. But to the Kiwanis Club of Logan they are called a tradition.

And the tradition will continue when Pancake Day returns to Logan on Saturday, March 24, 2007.

The event is one of the Kiwanis' major fundraisers of the year and is always a great deal of fun for everyone. The event starts at 7 a.m. at Logan Middle School and runs until 1 p.m. Tickets are on sale now from any Kiwanis member and can be had for $5 per adult and $3 per child.

The Silent Auction will also return with Pancake Day according to Kiwanis Co-Presidents Don Elkins and Jim Hagood. Area merchants have donated goods and services to the club, which will be displayed during Pancake Day. Those who wish to make a bid can write one down on sheets of paper on the tables where the items will be displayed. Times for the Silent Auction are from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

For more information or to find tickets contact Don Elkins at 752-4573, or stop by Don Elkins Music on Main Street in downtown Logan.
