Business discussions were: finalizing plans to prepare and serve refreshments for the Men's Church League Bowling Banquet; participation in the Teen's Spaghetti Dinner; Vacation Bible School program of June 11-15; notes of appreciation and donation to the NYC participants were also mentioned.
Dana Bowen, who presided at the meeting, gave the devotion of "Love Letters," highlighting testimonies and life stories that are written and passed down to our children. The supporting scriptures were taken from Psalms 16, 78 and 118. The group also participated in the 72 Hour Prayer Vigil for their Spring Revival held Thursday, May 10-13.
Attending the meeting was Dana Bowen, Sue Collier, Carrol Craft, Nancy Craft, Garnett Frye, Rene Gillman, Lou Ann Gore, Billie Jeffrey, Emma Lou McArthur, Doris Noe, June Proklevich and Gay Thompson.
Door prizes were won by Sue Collier and Nancy Craft.
The meeting closed with a reciting of The Lord's Prayer.
The next ladies ministry meeting will be held June 4.
