VIENNA n Ronnie Ooten talked all year about his Chapmanville High School girls’ softball team needing to become a family.
At the beginning of the season there were team chemistry concerns as a handful of former Harts High School players n former rivals of the Lady Tigers n came to Chapmanville to don the Orange and Black for the first time.
Harts High School closed its doors and that brought former Lady Lion starters Andi Williamson, Poppy Ramey and Lauren McCann to Tiger Town, along with freshman Brittani Lowe.
As the season progressed Chapmanville came more and more together.
Then in the regional tourney former Lady Tigers Jaci Collins, Katie Parsley and Lori Dingess
