Verdunville Elementary students grade Pre K through Fourth visited the Air National Guard in Charleston, West Virginia, on April 25, 2007. The students toured the facility and had a wonderful time with the 130th Airlift Crew. After the visit to the Air National Guard, the students were treated to a picnic at Coonskin Park in Charleston. Several parents accompanied their children and took part in the event and the picnic. Verdunville Elementary would like to thank the Air National Guard for allowing us to visit and share some time with them at their workplace. We at Verdunville Elementary wish the 130th the very best of luck and express our appreciation for all they do in keeping us safe. Barbara A. Porter is the principal of the school.
