The Buffalo Creek Memorial Library was recently the scene of a mysterious crime. Children participating in the summer reading program "Get a Clue at Your Library" were listening to a story being read by volunteer Vicki Wooten, when Elizabeth Tackett, library director noticed that the cookies were missing from the cookie jar.

Although the children acting as super sleuths and detectives were called upon to use their magnifying glasses and detective skills learned during the summer program, they were unable to solve the crime of "Who Stole the Cookies From the Cookie Jar." It was then necessary to take further action in the matter.

After placing a call to 911 for assistance, the Man Police Department were quick to respond to the scene of the crime, bringing along Inspector Sidlock Homely to further investigate the crime.

Through thorough investigation by Inspector Homely the cookies were found to have simply been taken by Library Assistant Darlene White, to be used in snack bags for the children.

Another case solved by Inspector Sidlock Homely.
