McClung has been the pastor of the church for the last five years. The son of Barbara McClung of McConnell and the late Rev. John McClung, he has been ministering for approximately eight years, traveling the area with his father wherever they felt they were needed.
His wife, Anita, is the daughter of Leslie and Clara Maynard of Verdunville.
The couple's family includes two sons, Jason and Eric, a daughter-in-law, Darcy, a grandson, Braydon, and another grandchild due in February.
The congregation welcomes friends and family to attend the event.
