To celebrate Veterans Day, Man High School held a poster and poetry contest in which over 50 students submitted entries. The winners were, from left, Ryan Hall - 2nd Place Poetry; Samantha Spence - 1st Place Poetry; Nicole Maynard- 1st Place Poster and Ethan Doss - 2nd Place Poster. Winners received monetary prizes from the school. Also, local veterans came to speak to the student body on Tuesday, November 13th. Jerome Dingess, Commander of American Legion Post 103 from Chapmanville, Rick Browning, Roger Cabell, Roger Campbell, OJ Jeffreys, Tom Perry, James Phillips, and Larry Workman from VFW Post 6153 of Chapmanville were the guests.
