Sherry Bragg, 30, was arrested on Nov. 1 for allegedly attempting to smuggle drugs into the Southwestern Regional Jail at Holden.
According to a spokesperson for the U.S. 119 Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, Bragg has a hearing scheduled in court later this month on the charge.
Bragg was already in jail on other charges when the new arrest was officially made. According to the criminal complaint on file in Logan Magistrate Court on Oct. 26, 2007, Bragg allegedly smuggled illegal contraband into the regional jail.
“The accused did transfer said contraband to Christina Hensley and Kimberly Price,” the report states. “The accused was witnessed removing the contraband from her body cavity.”
A warrant was issued for her arrest and was served by a member of the Task Force.
