Brandon Price of Logan graduated December 14, 2007, from the Mountaineer ChalleNGe Academy at Kingwood. Brandon was also awarded the "Iron Mike" Award For Physical Fitness, the award recognizing the Cadet who showed consistent strength in physical training, and was recognized on the Instructor’s List for his academics. While at the academy, Brandon also served as the leader of the third platoon during the first grading period. Selection of platoon leader is based on strong leadership skills of an individual within a platoon. Brandon is the son of Lynn Woods of Logan and the late Earl Price.
