The Coalfield Chapter of the Brothers of the Wheel has had another very productive year of charity work in trying to help the less fortunate throughout the coalfields for Christmas 2007.

During the months of November and December, the Brothers stood in Chapmanville, Logan and Man collecting donations to help many families in the tri-county region. Donations were made to the Necco Agency and the Tug Valley Recovery Center.

The Brothers held their annual Christmas party to celebrate the outstanding results of their charity work for the year. The Brothers have found that each year their collections for local charities grow. The Brothers also attended the City of Logan Christmas Parade where they tossed candy and gifts to children attending the parade.

The chapter held their third annual Biker Bash in September at Three Mile Curve for anyone who wished to attend. They are now planning their fourth bash with the date to be announced later.

“The Coalfields Chapter of the Brothers of the Wheel, along with its chapters throughout West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio, are proud to help bring joy to the less fortunate families of the region,” said Wesley Ball, Coalfield chapter member.
