West Virginia Freedom Festival organizers Amber Gore and Serafino Nolletti, along with other festival organizers, will attend the West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals state festival convention in January. The convention will be held January 11-12 at the Charleston Civic Center.

The WV Freedom Festival has been a member of the association for four years. Sha Hall will represent the Freedom Festival in the Miss WV Association of Fairs and Festivals pageant. Each year, the festival begins gaining sponsorships for various events that are held during the Freedom Festival, and at the convention they are able to network with unique events held throughout the nation.

Last year, Thornhill GM Superstore sponsored the Fast Action Motorsports NASCAR event. The event is always a hit at the festival. As a sponsor, you receive a personalized NASCAR that is circled around the track during tournaments. Recently, Thornhill's car arrived at Logan City Hall, and organizers Amber Gore and Serafino Nolletti, as well as Councilman David Steele, presented Wally Thornhill with his keepsake NASCAR.
