Harris Leigh Williams celebrated her 18th birthday on December 11, 2007. Born in Roanoke, Va., Harris has one brother, James Furman, age 19, and one sister, Kelley Ann, age 16. She is the granddaughter of Effie Bailey of Logan and the late Charles T. Bailey. She is the daughter of Celia Bailey of North Canton, Ohio, and Jon Williams, also of North Canton.
Eight years old
Bethany Gail Ball, the daughter of Michael and Crystal Ball of Lake, celebrated her eighth birthday on December 22, 2007, with a Hannah Montana party. She has one little sister, Lillian. Bethany is the granddaughter of Glen and Gail Brumfield of Big Ugly and Roger and Sandy Ball of Lake. She is the niece of Brian and Missy Adams and Jeff Brumfield of Big Ugly and Daniel and Regina Pritchard of Lake. She is the cousin of Zach Adams and Brandon, Chelcie and Nate Pritchard. She attends school at Chapmanville East Grade School.
Double celebration: 1st anniversary and college graduation
Brian and Ashley Dalton celebrated their first wedding anniversary on December 16, 2007. Both the bride and groom celebrated their graduation from Marshall University in December as well.
The couple was united in marriage at the Morning Star Freewill Baptist by Rev. Matthew Conley.
The church was decorated in a Winter Wonderland fashion with the colors of choice being winter blue and silver. The church pews were decorated with arrangements of pine and silver bows and ornaments. Lights wrapped in toole and white garland were draped around the banisters of the church. White trees with lights and silver bows served as the archway and were placed throughout the sanctuary to add to the winter theme. A white candle adorned with a snowflake was placed in each window of the church.
Valerie Conley performed several songs on the piano while guests were arriving. After the family was seated, Ms. Conley performed "Pachabelle's Cannon" while the bridal party entered the sanctuary. Traditional wedding music was played by Ms. Conley thereafter.
Musicians Caleb Hensley, Casey Gore, Josh Farley and Zach Adkins performed "More than Love" while the bride and groom lit the unity candle.
