This is a copy of the letter I have submitted to the West Virginia Parole Board in protest of allowing Derrick Thompson out on parole.

Let me introduce myself to each of you. I am Brenda Evans Stanley, sister to the deceased, Clarence Edward Evans, who was shot down in cold blood by the hands of a determined, bullying, and careless man, (Derrick Thompson). Because of this person (Thompson’s) determination to even a score for a a**-kicking, he had to take it upon himself (with his bulling ways) to take my brother’s, Clarence, precious life, and a grave was forever dug. For nothing other than (Thompson’s) own stupidity, showboating and pride, this overbearing person (Thompson) had trespassed and forced a fight with my brother, Clarence, whom Thompson didn’t even know, which resulted in (Derrick Thompson) getting that a
