Have you ever wished you could add to the happiness of those who have been special to you by somehow letting them know the positive impact they have had on your life? If one of those people in your life happens to be a retired Logan County teacher named Jessie Ballard you now have your chance.

Mrs. Ballard will be celebrating her 90th birthday on March 2, 2008, and my sister and I (Sherry Church and Karen Wheeler) want to surprise her with the cards and letters she receives by compiling them for her in a scrapbook which we will present to her on her birthday.

My sister and I sincerely invite you to participate by sharing your remembrances and/or your birthday wishes.
