The First Baptist Church of McConnell had an Easter Egg Hunt at the Chief Logan State Park on Saturday, March 22. The sixth graders through baby group of children had a great time eating pizza and hunting hidden eggs. Prizes and much candy were given to the kids that found designated eggs. Patty Tothe and Kim Browning organized the event. The First Baptist Church of McConnell welcomes all children and youth to attend their growing Sunday School at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday, the AWANA Club Program on Monday evenings at 6 p.m. (2 year olds through 6th graders) and the exciting youth group on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. For more information about the church, please call Pastor John E. Godby at 752-7774.
