The West Virginia State Police responded to the call that said a man, later identified as Darryl Washington, had fired a shot or shots in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.
Police arrived on the scene and searched through several houses, but never found Washington. A call came in to the 911 service that said Washington was going to come out on the porch of the house he was hiding in and would give himself up, but, according to Logan County Sheriff
