GILBERT, W.Va. - Zettie Magalene Cantrell Hatfield, 82, of Browning Fork of Gilbert, departed this life Friday, May 2, 2008, at her residence.
Born May 10, 1925, at Wharncliffe, she was a daughter of the late George and Molly Browning Cantrell. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Bangor and Fraley Cantrell, and three sister, Ruth Gibson, Dora Hatfield and Marie Cantrell.
Zettie was a homemaker and of the Freewill Baptist faith.
Those left to love and cherish her memory include five sons, Jessie (Leslie) Hatfield of Justice, Donald (Diana) Hatfield of Varney, Ronald (Sherry) Hatfield of Chesapeake, Ohio, Lonnie Hatfield of Wharncliffe, and Roger Hatfield of Browning Fork; three daughters, Emogene (David) Shirkey of Beckley, Connie (John) May of Baisden and Pauline Hatfield of Browning Fork; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May, at the Browning Fork House of Faith with Rev. Diamond Carter officiating.
