EARLES STOLLINGS

HENLAWSON, W.Va. - Mr. Earles Ray Stollings, 77, of Henlawson, was born November 7, 1930, at Chapmanville, a son of the late Carlos and Susie Whitt Stollings. He departed this life Thursday, May 1, 2008, at his residence.

Also preceding him in death was one daughter, Susie Ann Conley, and two sisters, Viola Newman and Cleo Brumfield.

Mr. Stollings was a retired coal miner and of the Church of God faith.

Survivors include two sisters, Myrtle (Kenneth) Belcher of Barboursville and Nancy Carpenter of South Point, Ohio; one brother, Douglas Stollings of Henlawson; his children, Willis Ray Stollings of Holden, Michael Edward Stollings, Jerry Layne Stollings, Nellie Jean Stollings, Pamela Shriver and Gary Rogers Stollings, all of Chapmanville, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 5, at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville with Rev. Albert Adams officiating. Burial will follow at the Whitt-Stollings Cemetery at Chapmanville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
