I was looking at all the road construction underway at Rita on Route 10 and it dawned on me that the group of people who began approaching the state and federal government for funding for Route 10 seems to have been forgotten. I, for one, appreciate all the meetings in Charleston and Washington DC members of the Better Roads Committee attended, often at their own expense. I think the citizens of the Man area should not forget to thank Bernard Cook, Mike Pollard, Patty Roach and Freda Napier when they see them.
I would also like to thank Congressman Rahall, Senators Byrd and Rockefeller and anyone else who helped get this much needed road for us.
Thank you,
Mike Robinson
