Introducing - Emma Grace Richmond was born April 24, 2008, at 10:35 p.m. at Thomas Memorial Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 inches long. Emma is the daughter of Eric and Missy Richmond of Sod and the granddaughter of Frenchie and Gail Lusk of Accoville and Glen and Carolyn Richmond of Nimitz. She is the great-granddaughter of Fred Wingler of Mallory. Emma has two big brothers, Jeremy and Jacob.
Six years old - Gavin Creakman celebrated his sixth birthday on May 5, 2008, with a Monster Jam themed party at the Crooked Creek Church of Christ with family and friends. He is the son of Gabriel Creakman and the late Rhonda Ellis-Creakman. He is the grandson of Ronnie and Sherlie Ellis and the great-grandson of Lillian McDonald all of Crooked Creek. He is the special nephew of James Ellis and Debra Woods of Chapmanville. Gavin is in Mrs. Hunter's kindergarten class at Justice Grade School.
Three years old - Aidan Seth Ellis celebrated his third birthday on April 27th at his home with family and friends. He is the son of Debra Woods and James Ellis, and the little brother of Zach Nelson of Chapmanville. He is the grandson of Ronnie and Sherlie Ellis of Crooked Creek, Frank and Patricia Bare of Man, Lawrence and Sharon Woods of Alum Creek and the great-grandson of Lillian McDonald of Crooked Creek.
Introducing - Drayden Christopher and Kyden Joshua Hitte, the twin sons of Chris and Brittany Helmondollar Hitte of Palm Bay, Fla. The boys were born on January 27, 2007, in Melbourne, Fla. They are the grandsons of Naomi (Bob) Ausburn of Brooksville, Fla., and Jake (Gail) Helmondollar of Clermont, Fla. Kyden and Drayden are the paternal great-grandsons of Elza Helmondollar of Chapmanville and the late Kathleen Helmondollar and the maternal great-grandsons of the late Joe and Dorothy Gibson of Gilman Bottom, Davin. Proud aunts and uncles in the area include Danny (Pam) Gibson, Flora (James) Lafferty, and Jim (Tammy) Gibson, all of Davin, Parthena (Sid) Cook of Mallory and Rev. David (Debbie) Gibson of Woodbridge, Va., and a host of cousins.
First anniversary - Rev. Alfred and Lois Setser of Harts will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary tomorrow. The couple was united in marriage on May 26, 2007. The couple enjoy working on "Calvary," a radio ministry program which airs Sunday's at 9 p.m. on WVOW radio.

John Connor was born on December 20, 2007, at Logan Regional Medical Center at 5:17 p.m. He weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 21 inches long. John Connor has one sister, Maggie Elizabeth, age 3. His grandparents are Gary and Olga Ellis of South Man, John and Shellie White of Monroe County, and Freddie and Mitzi Rick of Combs Addition. His great-grandparents are Irene Mazon of South Man, Buddy and Juanita Ellis of Man, Barbara White of Hensley Heights, Daisy Brown of Vinton, Va., Shirley Rick of Claypool, and Freddie Rick Sr. of Hammond, La.
