WEST LOGAN, W.Va. - Hazel Crizer Hale, 90, of West Logan, was welcomed home by the Lord Friday, May 23, 2008.
Born August 21, 1917, in Greenbrier County, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Lillian Lewis Crizer. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Maurice Frederick Hale Sr.
Hazel was a member of the West Logan Baptist Missionary Baptist Church where she was active in the Mission Society.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Lois Ann Wooten and her husband, Howard, of King Shoals, Jerrie Corley and her husband, Harry, of Orlando, Fla., Mary Ramey and her husband, Larry, of Melville, Maurice Frederick Hale Jr. and his wife, Brenda, of Dayton, Nev., eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill with Pastor Robert Morris officiating.
