Marshall football coach Mark Snyder, Marshall men's basketball coach Donnie Jones, MU women's hoop mentor Royce Chadwick and AD Bob Marcum are scheduled to appear.
The Coaches Tour will also make stops at: Lexington, Ky., on Thursday, June 5; Columbus, Ohio, on June 17; Hurricane on June 18; and the Greenbrier Resort at White Sulfur Springs on June 23.
"It's an opportunity for thousands of Thundering Herd fans to rekindle the fire for their favorite college team, talk to coaches and athletic department administrators and speculate on the upcoming football and basketball seasons," said Sam Stanley, of the Big Green staff and the tour director in a press released statement.
At most stops along the way the traveling MU contingent will be accompanied by Marshall cheerleaders and Marco, the school mascot.
The availability to purchase 2008 season football tickets, to join the Big Green and to ask questions about Thundering Herd athletics are all involved in the tour.
Making his first complete Coaches Tour will be John Sutherland, the new executive director of the Big Green Scholarship Foundation.
"We've got a lot of Big Green leaders at all of these areas who are passionate about the Herd and give an extra effort in helping us raise scholarship funds for our 375 student-athletes," said Sutherland, who moved over to the Big Green office from his previous roll as assistant coach of the Marshall women's basketball team.
"I'll be meeting many Herd fans for the first time."
The Marshall football opens the 2008 season on Aug. 30 at home against Illinois State. The Thundering Herd play at Wisconsin Sept. 6.
