Daisy Girl Scout troop 4774 and Brownie Girl Scout Troop 4772 were invited by the Veteran's Center of Henlawson to assist with placing flags on the graves of veterans at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, May 24. Girls were taught the meaning of Memorial Day and why we honor veterans. The girls and adults participating were Madelyn Akers, Alicea Boggess, Shyann Fleming, Sydney Jarrell, Alexis Jarrell, Tashina Adkins, Staci Bailey, Ralph and Judy Jarrell and Stephanie Akers and Sharon Bailey-Troop Leaders.
