CHIEF LOGAN STATE PARK - The Aracoma Story, Inc. will begin production of its summer shows on Tuesday.
The annual production of the historical drama will run June 17-21 and June 24-28.
Then, following The Aracoma Story, the summer musical production of Annie will be performed July 29-August 2, August 5-9 and August 12-16.
The Aracoma Story is currently in rehearsals to get actors and actresses ready for the upcoming shows. Dress rehearsals are set for Sunday and Monday.
The Aracoma Story continues to be the cornerstone for outdoor theater in our area. On starry, summer nights local residents and tourists alike fill the seats anxiously waiting to be transported back to the Shawnee Village of Princess Aracoma and Boling Baker.
This year's summer musical 'Annie' was last performed by TAS in 1994. This show takes you on a youthful adventure through New York City. The music will entice you sing along as Little Orphan Annie awaits a better life 'Tomorrow'.
"It is a show to be enjoyed by all ages," TAS President Jim Frye said.
All performances begin at 8:30 pm.
This year TAS will begin accepting VISA, Mastercard and Debit cards for both advanced ticket sales and at the box office.
Groups are encouraged to reserve their seats early.
