Members of the Logan County Sheriff's Department assigned to the U.S. 119 Drug and Violent Crime Task Force assisted by uniformed deputies made another drug-related arrest on Monday.
Steven Lee Daniels, 21, of Logan was taken into custody by the Logan County Sheriff"s deputies yesterday shortly after 1 p.m.
According to the criminal complaint on file in Logan Magistrate Court, the deputies "obtained a search warrant from the Logan County Magistrate Court for the defendant's residence."
"Upon execution of said warrant, cocaine and marijuana were found in the defendant"s residence in amounts and packaged in such a way that it would indicate the drugs were going to be sold," the report states.
Daniels was arrested at his home at 429 1/2 Stratton Street in Logan. A press release from the Task Force said Daniels was found with moderate quantities of marijuana and cocaine that had been repackaged for resale.
The press release said the Task Force had "recently received several complaints that drugs were being sold in the 400 Block of Stratton Street."
Daniels was arraigned before Magistrate John Moses, who is filling in for Magistrate Leonard Codispoti who is currently recuperating from recent surgery. He was booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at 3:50 p.m. His bond has been set at $10,000.
