CHARLESTON (AP) - A crackdown by state police and the Internet Crimes Against Children task has led to the arrest of two Kanawha Valley men on sex-related charges.

Investigators say 20-year-old Brenden George Vilone of Huntington was charged with possession of child pornography. Forty-year-old Patrick Glen Moore of Poca was arrested for failure to provide a change of required information as a sex offender.

Officials say they expect to make more arrests for child pornography and related offenses as officers troll the Internet for illegal downloading.

One investigator said, ''Before they start exploiting children, they need to think twice.''

The news, although unrelated, comes on the heels of the sentencing of a Varney man who pleaded guilty to three first degree counts of knowingly promoting child pornography to a minor in Adair County, Missouri from his home in Varney.

The 39-year-old Ooten, a longtime southern West Virginia gospel singer and musician, was caught in an internet sting when he sent child porn pictures over the internet to an undercover police officer he believed was a young boy.

Ooten pleaded guilty to the federal charges and has been sentenced to 97 months in a federal prison.
