Father's Day was observed at the First Baptist Church of McConnell on Sunday, June 15. Gifts for the occasion were presented to the following, pictured bottom, the oldest father, Fred Dillon, the youngest father, Michael Coleman, the father with the most children present, David Woolsey, the youngest grandfather, Mark Vance, and the grandfather with the most grandchildren present, Gary Bledsoe. Each father attending received a flashlight that had the inscription written on it, "Father's Light the Way. Pastor John E. Godby had a special prayer of guidance for the men of the congregation spoken by Ms. Libby Wellman. The service was a wonderful celebration enjoyed by all family members. Photos/Submitted
