OMAR - Coal Mac's Gary Bennett and Roger Runyon met with members of the Omar Area Crime Watch on Thursday, July 31, to give their full support and a generous donation for the 25th annual "National Night Out" against crime and drugs. Coal Mac, along with Logan County Mine Service, has been very big supporters of the Omar Area Crime Watch in their effort to make the Omar area a better place to live. According to Bennett, Coal Mac will continue to support the Omar Area Crime Watch in future projects. Runyon has been very helpful in obtaining clear strobe lights for the crime watch's vehicles during their patrols.
The National Night Out was celebrated across the country Tuesday, August 5.
