Beth Haven Christian School Spanish Class, taught by Regina Vance, celebrated the Mexican holiday Cinco De Mayo with several class activities. The festivities included a traditional fiesta with Mexican food, games, and folk dance. The class made and decorated Cascarones, confetti filled eggs. Cascarones have been used in Mexican celebrations for centuries. It is believed that the colorful confetti shower brings blessings to those to whom an egg is broken over their head.
