Lady Tigers fall in home tri-match

CHAPMANVILLE - The Chapmanville Regional High School girls' volleyball team lost 25-9, 25-13 to Herbert Hoover in a home tri-match on Thursday night.

The Lady Tigers were then scheduled to play Westside but no information was available as of presstime this morning.

Chapmanville varsity players include: Kristen Justice, Laura Campbell, Whitney Copley, Jenna Vance, Shayna Damron, Cortney Willis, Charnetta Adams, Kayla Adams, Tonya Tucker, Anna Butcher, Lydia Vance and Lauren Shumate.

The Lady Tigers are scheduled to return to action with Tuesday's Cardinal Conference match at Poca.

Chapmanville then goes to the Charleston Civic Center on Thursday to square off with 3A St. Albans and Poca again.

CRHS goes to Tug Valley on Sept. 23 for a tri-match with the host Lady Panthers and Tolsia.

On Sept. 24, Chapmanville is scheduled to return home for a match against county rival Man.

The Logan High School volleyball team was slated to play at Tug Valley on Thursday night but, again, no score or statistics were reported to the Logan Banner.
