STIRRAT, W.Va. - Elizabeth Cleo Smith, 72, of Stirrat, departed this life Monday, October 13, 2008, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born December 19, 1935, at Stirrat, she was a daughter of the late John and Blanche Hale Smith. Also preceding her in death was one nephew, Norman David Smith.
Cleo was a homemaker and a long standing member and Sunday School teacher at Stirrat Community Church.
Survivors include five brothers, Robert (Gloria) Smith of Logan, Franklin Smith of Michigan, John L. Smith of Switzer, Wallace Dale Smith of McConnell and Earl (Linda) Smith of Stirrat; two sisters, Rutha Mae Davis of Logan and Diana (Harless) Farley of Stirrat, and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 17, at the Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wayne Meadows Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Collins Funeral Home at Switzer is in charge of arrangements.
