The Alzheimer's Support Group of Logan County will host a Caregiver Resource Fair Thursday, November 6, from 3-7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Logan.

Representatives from the Alzheimer's Association - WV Region; Trinity Healthcare Services Inc. Logan-Mingo; Dignity Healthcare of Southern WV; UMWA Fund; The Logan Center; Logan-Mingo Area Mental Health; DHHR; LEASA; Logan County Health Department, and PRIDE Inc. will be on hand to answer questions and explain how they can be of benefit to caregivers, not just for Alzheimer's patients.

Dr. Kathy Harvey and Dr. Ray Rushden will present a special presentation, "A New Look at Alzheimer's Disease: Risks and Prevention for the Family." They will share some of the latest research and discuss what you can do if a parent has developed AD. This special program will begin at 6 p.m. in the conference room.
