RANGER, WV - Eddie Lee "Bud" Lambert, 63, of Ten Mile Creek Road at Ranger, went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 3, 2008, at Francis Creek at Harts.

Born July 19, 1945, at Sand Creek, he was a son of the late Connie and Eva Lambert. Also preceding him in death was his first wife, Mauna Faye Lambert; one son, Eddie Lee Lambert Jr.; one sister, Hester Vannatter, and two nephews, Charles Ray Vannatter and Adam Jay Lambert.

Eddie was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting, outdoor activities, family and helping others.

Those left to cherish his memory include three daughters, Vivian Lynn (Doug) Combs and Michelle (Ronald) Lucas, both of Harts, and Belinda Doneff of Hamlin; two sons, Billy (Elsie) Hager and Harry (Lillian) Hager, both of Ranger; four sisters, Donna (Odell) Roberts of Alkol, Carolyn (Dave) Lambert and Wilma (JR) Shadd, both of Ranger, and Brenda (Don) Roof of Ottawa, Ohio; one brother, Boyce (Anna) Lambert of Ranger; 11 grandchildren, Roger Maynard Jr., David Maynard, Dustin Workman, Jacob Hager, Zachaira Hager, Isiah Hager, Tristan Hager, Donald Gordon, Christy Adkins, Ronica Doneff, Branda Doneff; one great-grandchild, Westan Adkins; his second wife, who was a very important part of his life, Nettie Lambert; a very special child in his heart, Brandon Ramey, a second mother to him, Ethel Enochs, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, November 7, at the Little Harts Freewill Baptist Church with Minister Frankie Frye officiating. Burial will follow at the Weltha-Nelson Cemetery at Sand Creek.

Pallbearers will be Paul Combs, Ronald Lucas, Billy Hager, Harry Hager, Roger Maynard and David Maynard.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Freeman Funeral Home.

Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
