Dear Dad,

A father's love is a gift that is freely given, a gift that is demonstrated by deed and word, a gift that begins before birth and endures forever. Great dads come in a wide range of shapes, sizes, colors, temperaments and nationalities; but they all share a singular trait: paternal love. Sometimes, that devotion is tested to the limits: even well-intended children occasionally behave in ways that only a parent could love. Thankfully, you forgave my shortcomings, and for that, I'm grateful. Your heart was big enough to love me in spite of my imperfections ... thank goodness, and bless you, Dad, forever!

Always,

Jeryla Jo
